FusionOne Unveils MightyPhone™ Wireless Service

Wireless Synchronization Service Brings the Power of PDAs to Mobile Phones

FusionOne, a leader in mobility and synchronization software, today announced the debut of its MightyPhone wireless synchronization service. Initially available for the SonyEricsson T68i, MightyPhone enables mobile phone users to update their phone with critical address book and calendar information from their PC- or web-based applications- without the need for cumbersome wires or cables. The announcement is being made at the COMDEX tradeshow, taking place this week in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Unlike other synchronization offerings that may require direct contact between the phone and PC, FusionOne utilizes the wireless carrier network to automatically broadcast contact and calendar information to a user's phone, regardless of physical location. This unique capability extends the value and power of existing mobile phones to that of a handheld PDA.

Designed specifically with the mobile phone users' needs in mind, MightyPhone is simple to set up and easy to use. Through its intuitive Web Organizer account management site (www.mightyphone.com), activating a phone to the MightyPhone service is as simple as logging on, creating an account, and providing a mobile phone number. Once an account is created, users can use the Web Organizer to enter, edit and select data entries to be wirelessly sent to the phone. And, through MightyPhone's unique personalization capabilities, the service can be configured to send alerts or automatically sync the instant changes are entered in the PIM applications.

For more advanced synchronization capabilities, FusionOne offers downloadable PC software, MightyPhone PRO, which supports over-the-air synchronization of data from popular desktop PIM applications, such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, and Lotus Notes. This extensive support for corporate PIM applications makes FusionOne's MightyPhone PRO ideally suited for mobile professionals and corporate users.

Initially sold direct to the consumer through retail partners, such as Handango, MightyPhone will also be available for carriers to offer as a mobile data solution to their subscribers.

Pricing and Availability
FusionOne's MightyPhone service is currently available for the SonyEricsson T68, T68m, and T68i. MightyPhone is available as a limited free trial, or can be purchased for a suggested retail price of approximately $2.95 per month, with yearly subscription pricing available at retail. For syncing desktop applications, MightyPhone users can download MightyPhone PRO software for a suggested price of $39.95.
